25 minutes. Umm, you will have to manage your time very good.

Reading and thinking about the topic: 2 m.
(read carefully, do not hurry)
Brainstorming ( or any other technique that you like): 2m.
Writing the essay: 18m.
Cheking the essay: 3 m.
Total time: 25 minutes.

Do not forget to provide examples. If you state an opinion give reasons.
Also, use signal words, they make your essay easier to follow.

Contrast/ opinion essay:

Introduction: Paragraph 1 : Present two sides of the issue; give a brief amount of background information.

Body: Paragraph 2: Discuss the negative/ positive side of the issue; give examples.

Paragraph 3: Discuss the negative/ positive side of the issue; give examples.

Conclusion: Paragraph 4: Express your opinion about the issue; give specific reasons for your decision.

Explain the importance of a development, invention, or phenomenon

Introduction: Paragraph 1 : Explain the development, invention or phenomenon.

Body: Paragraph 2: Discuss one aspect of why the topic is important; give examples.

Paragraph 3: Discuss another aspect of why the topic is important; give examples.

Conclusion: Paragraph 4: Summarize the points in paragraphs 2 and 3.
