Is it grammatically correct?
The revival of trade which gained momentum in the federal republic at the beginning of last year and recorded more and more areas of the economy over the year, was firstly continuing at the beginning of this year. Important driving power takes the still activate export business as a basis of it.

I am not really good at correcting people's mistakes.Hope I am right here.
