Will Phones Kill Letter Writing
WIth the development in the technology of communication, a large number of new communicative devices come to existence, such as computers, fax machines, cell phones, etc. Among the most widly used devices is telephone.Nowadays people perfer making telephone call to writing letters for writing is considered as a time-consuming work campared with picking up the receiver and talking to it.Convenient as the telephone is, I personally don't think phones will take over writing.
Firstly, writing is required in some cases.For instance, of you are going to apply for a job, an application letter is a must. This is the best way to show how eager you are to get this job while a phone call won't do wonder for you in this way.Besides application letter, reference letter, recommendation letter and even love letter are all much better than just a call.
Secondly, although we make telephone call every day , letters are considerd as the major carriage of communication because we would rather go to detail by writing. Moreover, writing materials are thought to be more formal.
Without doubt, it is true that phones have benefited mankind greatly but it will be quite a long time before phones dominate our daily life of commuciation.

Nowadays, people perfer to make phone calls than writing letters as it is considered as wasting-of-time work.The telephone is convenient, I personally don't think phones will replace letters.

I suggest you to post this kind of posts in the 'Ask a teacher' section.

Future Perfect continuous tense: It is used with will + have + Past Participle
E.g On this same month next year, I will have been doing this project.
