Starting story, need advice

I'm starting a story,one about Love, trust& betrail+ tragic , anyone want to tip in anything they'd want me to add, e.g Setting of the story, time, phrases, or anything that pop into their head.

Perhaps the woman of the story has two suitors and she cannot decide between them.

As far as your story goes....in a typical love, trust and betrayal story, your heroine is beautiful (slender, porcelain complexion, dancing green eyes, and gleaming mahogany hair) and has an impeccable background. Her love interest is handsome, gallant, physically fit and holds an impressive job. They meet, they fall in love, but something happens to shatter her trust. Perhaps just before they get married, the heroine's father confesses to her that he's not her true father, or something like that.
