About this paragraph..........
Please let me know if it is right.
5- Culture-fair intelligence tests. Tests that are planned to measure intelligence in children without the effects of verbal fluency, educational level or cultural environment. Still, some differences have been found, and maybe the answer lays in the way the score is interpreted. Moreover, the test should take in consideration that many children feel uncomfortable in a stranger’s presence. When they are permitted to spend more time with the assessor of the test, they feel serene and get higher scores.
Thanks for any help!

answer lays- lies
in consideration- I'd say 'into'
feel serene- this sounds excessive to me- how about 'relaxed'?
How about changing assessor for evaluator
"When they spend more time with the evaluator they feel relaxed and get higher scores.
Thanks !
I always have problems with that word, lie, lei, lay.......why they are so confusing to me ?![]()
And the other words, I think is because the class has so many "big" words...............I am now using them![]()
Again, thanks, this site is very helpful!
Lie & lay are very easy to confuse because they have a similar meaning and the past tense of 'lie' makes things worse:
Lie/lay/lain
Lay/laid/laid
