hello there...

its carol again!

i was marking the test papers today and guess what? one student wrote
this phrase in an essay: 'how r u doing?' is it my fault? i guess no!
it's the infgluence of the great technology.. . HAHAHA

A student in the UK submitted an entire essay written in SMS abbreviations and complained when she failed.

Are you sure?

When I'm reading messages of Tdol or other teachers here I see correct grammar and punctuation (as far as I can assess it ) with very little touch of "the infgluence of the great technology". And your message doesn't look in the same way (at least, I see that you avoid using of capital letters). Maybe it was you who taught the student to use SMS language?
