It is well known that the problems Peruvians are confronting are various, and a list of five or six alternatives is insufficient to describe their current problems. Therefore, respondents were asked to select from a list the problems(s) that they are confronting in Japan. In this case, one respondent could choose more than one alternative that he/she reflects their personal experience. The result was based on the number of times that Peruvians selected an alternative.

Therefore, respondents were asked to select from a comprehensive list of problems, those which they were personally experiencing in Japan. In doing this, respondents' were given the choice of listing all of the problems that reflected his or her personal experience from the list. The results were calculated on the amount of alternatives they selected.
