Chaos about the Russian’s oil
White Russia will resume the operation of the oil pipeline „Druscha" (friendship) in the west. This announcement made a speaker of the state company Belneftechim according to data of the agency Interfax in Minsk. There has been mentioned no reasons for the discontinuation of the oil delivery to Germany and Poland. A speaker of the regional White Russian Pipeline cooperation Gomeltransneft said that the oil transportation through the pipeline "Druschba" for the delivery of Poland, Germany and the Ukraine has been stopped due to an instruction of the White Russian company Belneftechim. The Federal Government confirmed this discontinuation.
Regardless of an already existing tariff union, Russia has settled the neighbours with an customs clearance of 180 Dollar for each tone of the delivered oil. The reaction of Minsk was a spontaneous conveyance fee of 45 Dollar for the transportation to the west. The German Institute for Economic Research (GIER) had demanded a delivery stop of the Russian oil as an articulate reaction of the Federal Government. "We should make clear by all means that this is not acceptable at all", said Claudia Kempfert, expert of GIER, to the news radio NDR Info. Germany cannot be the sufferer of a conflict between Russia and White Russia. It is additionally well known, that Germany depends too much on the Russian power suppliers. Due to a similar conflict with the big power supplier Gazprom regarding to the price of gas in 2007, the central Asian republic Azerbaidschan had stopped their oil deliveries to Russia, meanwhile. The Azerbaidschan’s oil company had already stopped their delivery through the pipeline Baku-Nowosibirsk on 1st January, said Socar’s export leader Muchtar Babajew.
