When I was in India’s was there last summer at friend’s invitation.john did his best to take my staying at their home pleasant. John family was very hospitable and his younger brother jigs had a very good sense of humor.
India is the vibrant land of mythological tales of gods and goddess and a thousand belief enloved over centuries as mystic land of festivals. there are many festival includes new year, Christmas, Easter, independent day, like diwali ,holi etc.
Diwali is the festival of lights. A person shoots off firework in park all over the India. street are lit up houses are decorated and painted a new in diwali is also the beginning of the new year according to the Hindu calendar and it is like new year in India.
Another popular festival is the annual Hindu spring festival is called holi. The festival of color.
In festival my mother cooks 7 item of food which includes sweets. Sweets are a major constituent in Indian festival cuisine. Do you celebrate your altogether? What holiday do u celebrate? what special cuisine do you cook on new year ?what are major dishes? What are poplar festivals in your countries?
