Opinion on text

I have translated into English an account of a journey (originally written in Italian) to wonderful Yemen. Of course the text is rather long, and I don't expect anybody to correct it... but I was just wondering if I could get general advice as to style, or if you could point out repetitive mistakes, or big blunders that really stick out and spoil the reading. I felt that traslation went smoothly, because I had written the text and didn't need to interpret it, but maybe it was too smooth and I overlooked some traps.

The part that I like best is what comes under the title "Trekking on Jabal Milhan" on the last page.

You are right. It is pretty long. Nevertheless, you could post a paragraph (or two or three) at a time. One thing I have found so far:

I have 2 hours’ delay on the schedule.

I would say:

I have two hours of free time on the schedule.

Or:

I built two hours of free time into the schedule.

Or something like that.
