Ready to get married?

The concept of marriage sounds undoubtedly great, especially physically, and particularly for teenagers in our society. They are willing to share mutual love and intimacy as it is shown in romantic movies. Yet, they do not understand what marriage really is. Nowadays, researchers show that marriage prior to age 20 is a risk for long-term economic and interpersonal problems. Therefore, marriage around the age of 30 is better due to more experience, financial issues, and lifestyle.

From a theoretical perspective, researchers have suggested that individuals who enter into the spousal role early have not developed the maturity regarding intimacy and conflict resolution that is necessary to have good quality long-term relationship. In particular, our society posit that marriage is after at least 25, although it disagrees with Islamic point of view. Generally, youths around the age of 20 are not mature enough to get into a relationship, because they are mostly dependent. As a result, getting married to them is like going overseas alone.

Another crucial knot that stands as a nightmare for the groom is financial issue. Normally, having a constant job comes around the age of 30, so they would provide sufficient money for the wedding and dowry. In addition, the prenup may have more and more demands that frustrate a young man. If we assume that the groom is at age 20, how can he prepare for all these requirements? Thus, the couple are more likely to divorce. After all, "Money simplifies life".

Regardless of marital desires, marriage at age of 30 can manage each couple's time properly; change to better or even worse lifestyle. The couple are usually, if not always, concentrate on sedentary activities. So, they would spend more time together. Such individual may have great difficulties knowing and adjusting to each other, and probably they break up.

Still, marriage at age of 30 has disadvantages. But, society imposes upon people on each country to follow its regulations. In my opinion, however, if anyone is able to cope with marriage mentally, physically, financially, and accept different changes, I hope to them a happy marriage with wonderful children.
