Your teacher has asked you to write a story which must begin with the words: “When they eventually reached the destination they couldn’t believe what had happened.”

Unbelievable changes.
When they eventually reached the destination they couldn’t believe what had happened. It was their summer holiday. After long discussion everybody agreed to go to the river bank where they had been three years ago.
Then they really had enjoyed their holiday. Everybody remembered the unique natural sceneries. Beautiful green grass on the bank had seemed to be an expensive beautiful carpet with colourful ornaments-flowers on the grass. The quiet shadows of the trees completed this beauty. Then there had been an impression that nobody had been in those places before them. They had pitched a tent and enjoyed the relaxed quiet for the three days.
Now everything looked different. That green carpet was separated into several parts with a variety of attractions for children. Along the bank there were a lot of people on their swimming wears.
It was obvious that there had been set up a new resort and there was left nothing for them but to go to the one of these hotels and check in.

Beautiful green grass on the bank had seemed to be an expensive beautiful [it is not usually good to repeat words in a sentence - delete] carpet with colourful ornaments - flowers in the grass. The quiet shadows of the trees completed this beauty. Then there had been an impression that nobody had been in those places [had ever been there] before them. They had pitched a tent and enjoyed the relaxed quiet for the three days [of their holiday].
Now everything looked different. That green carpet was separated into several parts with a variety of attractions for children. Along the bank there were a lot of people on their swimming wears [costumes/gear].
It was obvious that there had been set up [delete] a new resort [which had opened] and there was left nothing for them [to do] but to go to the[delete] one of these hotels and check in.
