Hi,
I am writing an e-mail to my representative. Can anybody help me with proofreading this e-mail?

Hi, Mr Jose,
I talked to Sharlene today in the morning and I told her that I cannot visit to that place because it is too far from my house.

Hi, Jose, (only use the forename here if the letter is informal, if it's formal use Mr. (family name))

I talked to Sharlene this morning and I told her that I cannot visit there because it is too far from my house.
