Hi,

I just read this one. I've never noticed that boys carry so much importance. I have a younger sister who is in her last year in the university. Since I was a little child, my mon always taught me to protect my little sister and I had to give way everytime when we fight. She has been a receiver and she takes me for granted. It's fine with me and I love my family. I bear in mind that to give is to take. My mother has been very strict to me and my achievement is of course highy expected.

I haven't noticed the importance of having a baby-boy. Perhaps I'm a totally Taiper who grew up in a prosperous city where life is so fast-paced, and no doubt it's a dog-eat-dog world out there. Survival of the fittest, I need to be competitive or I'll be kicked out. So here I am, strong and tough. But most of the time, I'm sweet and nice. :) I do think nowadays, competition makes light of the importance of having a baby-boy. It's old-fashioned to hold an idea that men are more important in this society. Well...they are important at times. 8)

Your story touched my heart deelpy and I'm glad to hear your life turned a leaf. If you ever visit Taiepi, I can show you around the northern Taiwan. I am truly an outdoorsman.

BTW, your writing is
