or, from Santa Barbara take the 101 freeway north nearly 30 miles to
Pacific coast highway 1 or shortly PCH 1, then exit north on PCH 1 to travel approximately 15 miles to Jalama Road.Use Jalama road, and 14 miles later, you're here. But believe me if you get wet, you've gone too far. Otherwise
from Santa Maria take the 101 south to the Lompoc exit, follow the signs and the 135 to PCH 1, which bends through Lompoc. From Lompoc drive 4 miles south of Lompoc off PCH 1. Then again take Jalama road, and finally 14 miles to beautiful Jalama Beach.

Beach activity

Not surprisingly its one of the best places to surf and a good beach for intermediate to advance surfurs. Also it is one of the popular sites for windsurfing ofcourse due to wind.
As it is situated near mountains it would be the best places to spend some spear time in hiking.
With very nice scenerie and great sun sets it seems to be the best places for photgraphy.
in addition you are also provided with activities like camping, swimming, fishing the surf or rock out croppings for perch, cabezon, elp, bass, or halibut, kite flying, birdwatching, beach combing, whale & dolphin watching, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, walking, foraging at the store or restaurant, or relaxing.

Mouthwatering tasty food

Yes its true indeed it has imerged as the home of the world famous jalama burger for years. This famous burgur starts with a 1/3 lb lean ground beef, stacked with fresh sliced vegetables on a grilled bun, and also added with
secret Jalama burger sauce, including other ingredients. Believe mw it's all healthy at beach. They also serve special kids menu, full breakfasts and unuasually serve monster breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches.

Scenery and Wildlife

Here is one of the places where you can find many protected California native plants like sand verbena, saltbush, and sea rocket, grow within park boundaries.

Best times to visit

Mid June to early September is the best time to come to the beach as it is also the tourist season.
