Default Mobile Phones

Hello. My name is Dona. i have for homework to write a for and against essay about mobile phones. i wrote something, but i don't know if it is ok.. please help me :)

Mobile phones are some kind of multimedia device that let us enjoy all the comforts. Mobile phones can be vital, convenient and cost-effective for people who want to stay connected all the time. In the recent years the number of mobile phones that are already bought is growing. Many claim that this is because more and more people can’t live without mobile phone.
One of the major advantages of the mobile phones is that you can be able to be connected with everyone in every single moment of the day. In addition to this, if you are lost or for example you had a car accident, you can call someone to help you. A further advantage is that if you are bored you can listen to music, play games an also you can take and make pictures (if you have a camera on the mobile phone); not to mention the fact that almost every mobile phone has a blue tooth and infrared, so you can send pictures, video clips or any kind of music in a really easy way.
However, there are many disadvantages. On the first place are the potential healths issues, such as damaging you ear, supposed cancer if you have or use blue tooth and also possible headaches from too much talking and just using the mobile phone. On the second place is the risk of a car accident, if you talking or sending sms when you are driving. Many people are using the camera for bad things, like taking a picture of a naked person and even recording a porn film.
All things considered it seems to me that the mobile phones are not devices that we should be afraid of, if we are using them on a good way. So just to avoid the risk, I think that we should use the mobile phone for essential calls and text/picture messaging.

Perhaps:
Mobile phones are multimedia (print and voice) devices that make communication convenient. Mobile phones are convenient and cost-effective for people who want to stay connected all the time. The number of mobile phones in use is increasing all the time. Some people say they can't live without their mobile phones.

One of the advantages of having a mobile phone is having an instant communication tool at hand at all times.
What is "sms"?

If you are lost or in a car accident you can use your mobile phone to call for help. You can also listen to music, play games or take pictures with your mobile phone.

There are disadvantages to having a mobile phone. There are health risks. Also it is dangerous to talk on the phone while you are driving.

maybe you could also add that in Britain(you would have to check for other countries) a new law came into force at the end of 2003. Anyone caught using a hand-held mobile while driving risks a fixed penalty of £30 or a fine of up to £1,000 if convicted plus three points on their licence.

Unless you think it is a good idea to drive while drunk you probably shouldn't talk on the phone while driving. The effect is the same.
