Lightbulb Can you fix my errors?

Received another assignment yesterday.

Explain whether or not children should be disciplined by exercising physical punishment. Support your statement by at least 2 well founded arguments.

------

Exercising physical punishment.

Exercising physical punishment is an issue nowadays. Even the government have spent time on this topic. In Holland physical punishment is banned by the court; parents do not have the right to exercise physical punishment. Discipline is also a big problem nowadays; Teeners having problems to be on time and there is no respect for older people. Maybe this will change as physical punishment is exercised?

If children do not want to listen, it is a good thing to physically punish them for their behaviour. Otherwise a child will not listen again the next time because they know they wont get punished for there behaviour. This is just one of the options to gain respect nowadays and teaches the child to be disciplined

Parents can not have authority if they can not exercise physical punishment because children and especially teeners have a habit to defense there self when older people indicate when they misbehave. If these children or/and teeners after asking the same question still do not want to listen, they must be physically punished.

Exercising physical punishment is a good thing as children do not want to listen and it is a good way to gain respect as a father or mother. In Holland physical punishment is banned by the court, but it must be changed in the future, because physical punishment teaches children to respect the adult.

Can you please correct my errors? Grammar, commas etc?

Exercising Physical Punishment.

To exercise physical punishment or not is an issue nowadays. Even the government has spent time on this topic. In Holland, physical punishment is banned by the court. Parents do not have the right to exercise physical punishment. Discipline is also a big problem nowadays. Teeners have problems being on time and there is no respect for older people. I believe that this will change if physical punishment is exercised.

(this is your position statement)

If children do not want to listen, it is a good thing to physically punish them for their behaviour. Otherwise, they will not listen again the next time because they know they won't get punished for their behaviour. When the parent is able to exercise physical punishment, it helps them to gain the respect of the child and teaches the child to be disciplined.

Parents can not have authority if they can not exercise physical punishment because children, especially teeners, have the habit of getting defensive when older people confront them when they misbehave. If these children or/and teeners, after asking the same question, still do not want to listen, they must be physically punished.

Exercising physical punishment is a good thing because children do not want to listen. It is a good way to gain respect as a father or mother. In Holland, physical punishment is banned by the court, but it must be changed in the future, because physical punishment teaches children to respect the adult.

You need to have two supporting statements for your position.
