Default Can I say...

1. I like to do acting and dancing.

2. I like doing acting and dancing.

3. I like acting and dancing.

Are all those sentences are correct? Please check them all.

And by the way, Are Quotations and Quotes are the same?

First two sentences sound awkward. Number 3 sounds good. You could also say I like to act and dance.

Do you think the 1st one is correct?

Well, not correct maybe, but likely to happen in this sort of context (where the "..." can represent a small fraction of a second for thought: 'I like to do ... acting, dancing, cycling, playing the guitar, chilling out with friends...'

The ideal (prescriptive) grammar of formally written sentences bears little relation to what actually happens between speakers.

I see.

I just wrote them down in my essay. I'm afraid that what I've wrote are wrong.

I wrote "I like to do acting and dancing"
