Default ''time blocking'' needs clarification

Hi there!

Can anyone tell me the meaning of [time blocking] in the following context?

''Use time blocking to commit chunks of time for important activities related to your current goals and projects.
I greatly appreciate your help.
Cheers,
Pedro
