Election Speech. What to write?

Please help. I'm standing for an election in my school as the head programme director. I've got no idea what i should do with my speech as this is my first time participating in an election.

I would appreciate if anyone can give me a little heads up as to what i should include in my speech.

I have managed to come up with something:
-My name and class
-why i want to become the head programme director
-why am i more deserving than others
-what will i do if i managed to become the head
Thats basically all i can think of right now...

Is it okay if i talk about that? Can anyone please give me some ideas besides the above? Thank you!!
