I am not sure what "a well-known country's difficulty" means, but I suppose Brazil is indeed a well-known country.

Ok. I listed some other investiments before, that's why I used 'also".

I didn't mean brazil is well-known, I mean that brazil has educational problems and it's well known at least by its inhabitants. I should elaborate it in a better way.

That is better, but you can improve on it. For one thing, you need the definite article ("the"). Perhaps:

The Brazilian government has recently been investing a great deal in education, an area that was neglected by the politicians for years.
