the writing is about a traditional wedding in Viet Nam.

Vietnamese wedding is one of important traditional events in Viet Nam culture. Before wedding day, the groom family has to operate an engagement ceremony to ask the permission of the bride’s family to receive bride. After being accepted, the groom family starts to prepare for receiving bride. On wedding day, a group of people including the groom and his family leading by a man who was chosen to be a representative will go on foot to the bride’s home to receive her. At the bride’s home, the representative will give gifts which are often tea, wine, betel, cakes and a roast big to the bride’s family and ask to let the bride and the groom meet each other. After that, the couple will kneel down in front of the altar and burn incenses to ask the bride’s ancestor’s permission. Then, they will bow to the bride’s parent and bow to each other to complete the ceremony at the bride’s home. Finally, the groom brings the bride to his house to present her to his ancestor and relatives. A banquet party will be opened at the groom’s house to congratulate for the couple‘s happiness .In modern life, although Western wedding style seems to be popular in many countries and also Vietnam, a traditional wedding still plays a main part in every Vietnamese wedding.
