Mr. Sándor Horváth set out to improve the art education in our school.
In order to improve our school's services and make them even more interesting, we asked the parents, children and colleagues for their opinions. Their thoughts were that we should let our children learn to play musical instruments, to dance, and to prepare different objects. ?? (what are you trying to say here?)
We started the school year with 60 students, all of whom were members of Dr. Földi János Elementary School and Elementary Art School of Hajdúhadház. Our students went to our school to learn and took their examinations in the main school of Hajdúhadház.
Mrs. Dr. (you cannot have both 'Mrs.' and 'Dr.') Irinyi Tamás and Mr. Csaba Bányai taught our children how to play the piano, and Mrs. Sandor taught them how to play on the flute. Irén Szathmáry, Anna Tóth and Mrs Kadar taught them solfeggio. Borbála Őri taught the enamel and Gabriella Szűcs and Mrs. Vastag helped the children acquire the technique of the weaving. Mrs. József Keserű taught them folk dance.
Here are the teachers our children have had:
Piano: Mrs. Dr. (you cannot have both 'Mrs.' and 'Dr.') Irinyi Tamás and Mr. Csaba Bányai
Flute: Ildikó Sass and Mrs. Sandor
Solfeggio: Irén Szathmáry, Anna Tóth and Mrs Kadar
Vitreous enamel: Borbála Őri
Weaving: Gabriella Szűcs and Mrs. Vastag
Folk dance: Mrs. József Keserű
Mihály Makai, the deputy headmaster of Hajdúhadház, helped our colleagues and managed the administrative tasks.
We experienced how important art education is for our children and so we took steps towards having our own separate art school.
We had lot of questions that went to Sáránd with regards to continuing professional education.
Finally we made arrangements for the necessary preparation and ensured that all documents were available.

More and more opportunities have been opened for the children to discover and develop their talent(s).

The students of vitreous enamel branch have learned about the technology involved and how the melted glass powder flows and hardens to a smooth, durable vitreous coating on metal, glass or ceramic.
The younger students' pictures relate to tales, the elder students' illustrate the beauty of the flora and the animal kingdom. And sometimes they just picture their own fantasy."
