Exclamation Re: Understanding Cosmology

Re-written text (The matter was related or written in the mid of 19th century). It is a piece of translation originally in Hindi.

A number of planets, sateellites and comets are revolving on their orbits in this zero-shaped universe or cosmos, which have already been proved by the austrologers and space scientists. The same has been hightlighted with different arguments, yet the opinion or knowledge about the universe has not been complete clear and final. Many scholars expressed the opinion that there are number of suns alike, visable to us as stars and revolve round their respective orbits. But we are not fully capable to describe this infinite great cosmos. Leaving the detail aside we would precise to our purpose.

Many scholars have described the sun, which is visable to us also. Some of them say it is solid like earth and has one or the other types of "STRISTI". some others consider it an illuminated ball of material like fog or fumes. Many others describe it as a ball of gas like light. But presently many scholars considered it that neither it has solidness nor it has any STASHTI. Those readers, who wish to go through more details, may refer any book on the universe; we would like to mention this much that, having about 8 lac 760 thousand miles of radius, a ball of fire which completes its orbit along with its planets and satellites in 25 days 8 hrs and 9 months.

Comments:
I cannot comment on how faithful the translation is to the original. I can tell you what makes sense to me.

The planets revolve around the sun. You can also say they orbit the sun.

Say: "We are not fully capable of describing...."

The word "precise" is not a verb.

The sun is visible to us also? Compared to what?

A planet is a satellite of the sun.

Say: "a radius of 760 thousand miles"
