please, could anybody tell me what is the difference between the two terms :coherence and cohesion in writing?
Coherence means the logical, orderly and consistent relation of parts - so written matter must have a logical and ordered structure.
Cohesion means the action or fact of holding together or forming a united whole - so cohesion in writing means that in written matter all the different stages fit together to form a persuasive whole.

Can I say that coherence can be related to the connection of the ideas and whether they are harmonious and logically set or they are disjointed and don't seem to be logically convincing, whereas cohesion is related to a specific words and expressions that connect sentences and paragraphs to make a certain piece of writing well connected such as therefore, as a result, although??
