I translated a sentence this morning, from Chinese, by the way, and I displayed it here, see if you guys can understand what I am saying. This could serve as a test, actually, 'Cause if you do, that means it's acceptable:

The concept and methods of A research and those of B research are becoming integrated. This integration, with its changes and developments, is the result of the being constantly widened AB research in new century, and is inevitable, both historically and logically.
