This is a matter of a long-term future.
Is the sentence correct?
By the sentence I want to say that something will be discussed but not very soon. Example: The company plans to open a store in the city, but this is a matter/issue of long-term future. What are other variants to express the same meaning in formal speech? Thank you.
A future matter / a matter to be discussed in the future.
or if you fancied a metaphor, it's 'a speck on the horizon'.
