Which do you use?

I don't really think it matters. You could use either correctly, IMHO.

In BE, 'faithfully' is regarded as the correct option where no name is used. ;-)

Now that you say there's no name involved, faithfully does sound correct. Sincerely sounds open ended.

Hey, tdol! What is the name for "Yours sincerely" or "Sincerely yours" or "Yours faithfully"? And what kind of a letter would not have a signature (no name)?

What tdol meant was when YOU don't know the name of the person you're writing to you should end with 'Yours faithfully" and 'Yours sincerely' when you do.

You might consider adding Dear Madam, but essentially yes.

In BE, that would not be the case- we'd use 'faithfully'. ;-)
