It's true, I don't even see the point of the question. Should we drink water? English is almost as important nowadays. :)

but the question is to give reasons for learning English?

or"why do you drink water''? there could be many reasons

- you drink because you are hangover,
-because you ate a salty meal;
-because it is very hot in your country etc; so we drink for a reason.

Of course, apart from this we usually drink water, otherwise we would not survive. I guess that for most of the people English is a necessity, otherwise they would not manage to survive in different working fields.

So if you have other reasons for learning English please feel free and write it down here,

thank you in advance,

best wishes,,

Madox

[QUOTE=konungursvia;535054]It's useful and fun.[/QUOT

To be able to read English books especially novels.

It is quite necessary because it is a universal language.

To be able to speak using another language apart from Arabic(my natinve language).

Most importantly,Ifeel good when I speak in English. I really feel a kind of pleasure.

I guess one of the most important reasons which push me to learn English is that great desire to speak in English more than anything else.

Some of my ideas:

-If we learn English, we can communicate with foreiners. ( when we go abroad)
-Most of the movies are in English, so If we know the language, we are no more forced to concentrate on the subtitle but we can watch the images freely.
-Most of the songs are in English. I think that it is useful to understand the message of each song, not only its rythms.

Please feel free and share other reasons for learning English?

Thank you in advance,

From my point of view, English is an international language, we can use this language to communicate with the world...In many countries, if you speak English, you can get a better job with higher salary. On the other hand, please do not only focus on studying English Language, nowadays Mandarin is biggest language in the world, more and more people is going to learn Mandarin, so learning Mandarin is very important as well.
