    Default weddings are a great place

    Chandler: Because weddings are a great place to meet women, and when I dance, I look like this… (Starts to dancing really, really, really badly. Ross enters behind him and he stops.)

    Is there something wrong with "weddings are a great place", because "weddings" is a plural, and "a" is sigural.

    Yes, the I think would be correct to say either,
    "Because a wedding is a great place to meet women..."
    or
    "Because weddings are great places to meet women..."
