This is an important question, although I do not know the answer I am also interested in it.

I remember sometime ago seeing an advanced ESL book focused only on vocabulary expansion, with exercises and techniques. It was an excellent book, and the only one I saw in this subject. Unfortunatelly I don't remember the name of the book - I was not so involved with English at the time, so I didn't even consider buying it. Does anybody know such a book?

As far as I'm concerned , the best way to improve vocabulary is through watching and listening to native speakers talk shows, news , serials and films . BY doing this , you can really learn a great deal of vocabulary in no time , especially if you have the programs subtitled in your own language .One more thing , make sure you keep a notebook to jot down any new vocabulary and don't forget to go over what you have writtan before going to bed .
