| I speak fairly good english (ofcourse its not my primary language) when its just about my work (Programming and Internet) but when its anything offtopic, I can't frame sentences too well. So I recently had to request a client to pay my outstanding payment, I couldn't decide what to say, politely and in a business-tone: - Can you please process my invoice today or sometime this week? - Can you please clear off the outstanding today or sometime this week? - Can you please send the payment today or sometime this week? What would you say? Since I get into this situation frequently, I thought I'd better ask here and be sure whats the best and more polite way of request payment of a pending invoice. Look forward to comments and advices. |
