Balls or nuts should mean the testes, not the scrotum. I just wanted to know the container name for holding the balls or nuts.

It's rare - in British English - for the container to be called anything other than 'scrotum': that's the word comedians would use, for example.

I had never heard this, until yesterday - in an American film. It's not (yet) idiomatic in Br English.
