Redy's problem (Hello Rose!) might be the fact that the Chinese government, controling their Internet, blocks many, many web sites that might contain political or other undesireable content... I assume most blog sites would make the Chinese government very nervous, hence the redirecting...

It's nothing to do with chinese government.It's a technique that the website has done some setting so that you could see the Chinese version if you are in China and English version if you are in UK or USA.
