I speak very well French (my native tongue) and Dutch too (because I'm in Belgium and Dutch is an official language) and a little bit English (I learn English since one year only )

I speak two languages: Arabic and English...

Now, I am struggling with Spanish...and I can understand very simple sentences if they're spoken V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W-L-Y...

The vocabulary is easy, however, the VERB CONJUGATIONS are so difficult...

2 languages, french and dutch.

French because it's my native language.
Dutch because my father taught me it.

Russian and English

My mother tongue is Russian. English is my second language but I still can't say that I can speak it fluently. There are still loads of things to learn. I wish I could say one say: 'Yes, I've done it'. I learnt German some four years ago, but I've already forgotten most of it, as I haven't done it since I began learning English. I had to sacrifice German for English, as I found it very hard to study two languages at the same time. Then I got into English and I still can't stop. I'll probably start learning another language in about a couple of years when (I hope) I've acquired an excellent command of English Learning foreign langauges is so interesting, isn't it? Many learn them as part of educaton, though.

I like learning languages and at the moment I speak Ukrainian, English, Russian fluently, I am proficient in German and French and have elementary knowledge of Polish.
Now I'm learning Bulgarian.
I think, it's nice when you can understand people from different parts of the world easily without dictionaries or phrase-books
Do you agree with me?
