Default Clearing Central Unit or Central Clearing Unit

Dear Teacher,

A unit has been formed in my organisation recently.
This unit is a centre which processes all inward and outward clearing cheques for all the various branches of the organisation.

So how should it be called? Please help.

Regards.

Hello there, and welcome back!

Personally, I'd call it the Central Clearing Unit.

The other version (Clearing Central Unit) does not work at all, in my opinion.

PS - I'm going to move this discussion to the Business English folder.

Regards,

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your help and guidance.
It was not easy to convince my department that Central Clearing Unit was the correct one.
It has to come from an English teacher like you as proof and evidence.
Thank you for the assistance once again.

Regards
