Default Look Alike Words, But Little Differ One From Another

    Greetings wonderful community!

I found two words that look alike, almost identical, however they have different orthography and different meaning.

    E.g.

Vocation - Jane has vocation for teaching.

Vacation - School is closed due summer vacation.

I found words that have double meanings.

    E.g. Sage

    a) Sage - a plant.
    b) Sage - a wise man.

Add words that almost look alike, but have different orthography and different meaning. Add words that have double meanings.

    Gratefully waiting for them!

You might like homonyms - words that sound the same but have different meanings: acts - ax, ad - add, - ade, aid, aide, - air, heir.

Heteronyms are fun also - these are words that are spelled the same, pronounced differently, and have different meanings: bass (a metal), bass (a fish) - close (to shut), close (nearby) - combine (to bring together), combine (to cut vegetation, usually hay).

In addition, palingrams are great fun to play with. Read this one backwards: Able was I ere I saw Elba. Racecar and madam are other examples. Madam I'm Adam.
