Do you have any unusual words that you just love and try to somehow use in conversations, which usually makes your interlocutor do a double take? Anyway, that's one of my "hobbies".

I've recently fallen in love with befezzed.

Any other suggestions of words that make you go "there's a word for that?!"?

I don't think deliberately using words that the person you are talking to isn't going to understand is a very constructive habit. It will make them think you are trying to make them feel stupid.

In context, an AME speaker may, on being challenged, say: "Oh dear! I've just been nuked!"

Somehow I have managed to go through life without realising the need for this word, though now I am hoping they're rerunning Tommy Cooper when I next go back to the UK.
