If you want a discussion, why not start one? ;-) It might become clear from your initial post what your first statement means. For example which of these response would form part of the discussion you want:
- What's the difference between 'sulphate', 'sulphite', and 'sulphide'?
- Is water hydrogen dioxide or dihydrous oxide or something else entirely?
- I'm really enjoying Carl Sagan's Cosmos. Do you have any recommendations for other science books to read?
- Do you favour deductive or inductive reasoning?
- Is alchemy a science?
- etc etc etc ...

PS There's no such verb as 'discuss on' ;-)
Thanks for your part -b. :)
But, sadly I have not got your first part of reply. I request you to elaborate it more.
Thanking you,
-Pankesh
Scientific writing is a huge subject- try narrowing it down to something more specific. It's hard to get a discussion going with such a broad frame of reference. What area of science are you in?
Sorry - no punctuation. Fixed now.
Incidentally, 'please elaborate it more' doesn't work. I didn't elaborate it in the first place. What I meant was, 'If you want a discussion, don't you think it would be a good idea to start one, by giving your own point of view?'
