So it's dictation in France then? I presume it's like that in all other French-speaking countries as well? Yeah, I think that's better than spelling out aloud in front of audience.

I don't know if this is true- I'll check. I did read an article by a vegetarian who wanted to go vegan but found it difficult to, err, go the whole hog.
