I started learning English when I was 13. I had it at school, but first few years were a torture. I was the only one who knew nothing about the language. Things had changed when I went to college. I was one of the best students. I must say that I was an eager learner. Nowadays, I think the more I learn the less I understand. I have realized that there is so many things ahead of me. I am not giving up just yet though. My advice would be, if you like what you do, stick to it. Good luck to all of you.

Hi Karolina,

I like your idea about sharing the experiences of learning the English language.I think many people learn a lot things from here. I like to speaking and writing English but you know what i had face many problems while learning it.The good thing with me that i got a good guide for learning it and the very bad thing was that i got some bad classmate with me.
English is not very much easy to learn i know that but its also not too much difficult once you have a command on it...

Regards,
Olivia

hi,friends! An effective way for me to learn English is to read loudly,I am a learner with English as the second language,so I don't have much chance to really communicate with native speakers ,but when I am reading,I imagine that I was telling somebody something, this increases my interests for learning English. While I was reading,I also try my best to imitate the native pronunciation, which give me much confidence to open my mouth in public. For native speakers, they can 'say' a sentence, while for us non-native speakers we just organize(a usually long process) a sentence before we open our mouth, and a good way to solve this problem is also reading a lot,I think it can make the language be our habit, not just something stored in your memory.
