About the press language.
Hi!
- President Obama to visit Darwin, Australia's frontier town.
Someone asks why "To VISIT" is used in this case?
1- Person 1 answers:
- President Obama to visit Darwin, Australia's frontier town. = President Obama is due to visit Darwin, Australia's frontier town.
2- Person 2 answers:
- - President Obama to visit Darwin, Australia's frontier town. = President Obama will visit/visits Darwin, Australia's frontier town.
Which is correct, please?

Re: About the press language.
"is due to visit" = "will visit" = "is scheduled to visit" = "is going to visit" = "to visit" (in the context posted)
