For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees, for the sake of 100 years, we should cultivate people.
Is there anything wrong in this sentence, please?
For me, it is a run on sentence.
For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees. For the sake of 100 years, we should cultivate people.
I am not sure what you mean by the for the sake of parts.
It needs to be two sentences. For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees. For the sake of 100 years, we should cultivate people.
Also, numbers 10 and below should be written out, like it is. Any number 11 and above should be written like it is. However, if you have two numbers in the same sentence or paragraph that are below ten and above ten, you should pick one way of writing it to stay consistant... I hope that makes sence.
So, it should be like :
For the sake of ten years, we must plant trees. For the sake of one hundred years, we should cultivate people.
or
For the sake of 10 years, we must plant trees. For the sake of 100 years, we should cultivate people.
I personally would write the second one.
