| Could you please give me a proper word or words of the following expressions or phrases, which I have happened to see many times in official documents. The words or phrases given hereunder are made up by me myself which make me uncertain whether they are correct or not. Kindly help me correct them as necessary. 1. Person granting the power of authority: <a person who gives the power of attorney to someone> 2. Signatures of the Appointor/Grantor: <Signature of the person who gives the power of attorney to someone> 3. Person issuing the card; Officer issuing the card: <an issuer of the card. Which one is correct?> 3. Person knowing about the birth:<a person who happens to know about the birth of someone or someone giving a birth to a baby: in the case a witness giving a statement to an inquiry officer to certify that said person was born in that village> 5. Mentor/consultant/ adviser<What the difference among these words?> 6. Mentee's behaviour:<What does it mean?> 7. Name of respondent:<Name of person giving an answer> 8. The person who gives the consent/the person giving the consent 9. Advisor:<teacher who gives advice on his/her students&#8217; educational areas> 10. One who gives false testimony:- a person who makes or provides false witness and evidence 11. one who gives testimony:<a person who makes or provides witness and evidence> 12. Person giving the certification:<a person certifying true contexts of documents> 13. person giving the statement:<a person making a statement>* 14. person giving a consent:<a person who gives a consent to allow someone to do something> 15. Reviewer:<a person review an affidavit before getting it signed by the affiant> 16. Person Assigning the Figures (Numbers) :<a person giving the run No. of the documents>. 17. Recipient of Registration Copy:<a person receiving the copy of house registration> 18. Affiant:<a person giving a statement to the inquiry officer (or a person making an inquiry) 19. Recorder:<a person taking the note of the affiant> 20. A legally-authorized guardian of the minor:<a person who is legally authorized to be the guardian of a minor > 21.
