I'm not sure if the website is accessible outside the UK, so apologies if you can't see the article. I imagine a Google search for my thread title might bring up something in your area.
Remember - correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing make posts much easier to read.
It would be interesting to see other variants and the Americanisation graphs to compare.
That article is spot on.
As one expert says in that article, Americans are not upset by the number of Britishisms, for many Americans consider
British people to be very "posh."
