How can I avoid mistakes ?
Hello everyone,
Can you please help me in avoiding mistakes in writing in English ?
When I write essays , even when I write on the board , I make mistakes unconsciously , then, when I come back home, I realize that my mistakes are stupid !!
I should clarify one thing: the mistakes that I make are like this for instance: Writting --- instead of writing. ( I either add or omit letters) is this bad ?
So would you please help me , or at least advise me how may I avoid mistakes while writing ? I would be thankful.

If you can realise that they're mistakes, then leave some time before sending/publishing something to allow the correction mechanism to kick in.
Re: How can I avoid mistakes ?

Todol is tellling you to do the following -
1. Write something
2. Set it aside and do something else
3. After some time, re-read what you have written
4. Check each word for mistakes (this is called editing)
5. Rewrite your text with corrections
A. Do not put a space after a word before a punctuation mark - board, not board ,
B. The most difficult part of writing is in the editing.
C. Edit everything you write.
Re: How can I avoid mistakes ?
Microsoft office word can correct my spelling and gramma mistakes. And I also check my sentence by google.

Yes, it works Lyra_E, i agree, but that is not the exact way. No doubt, the instructions that Gillnetter provided need to be followed if someone want to become writer.
