most, the most, or (the) most?? Hi, everyone, I saw this question in another English forum, I thought it'd be a piece of cake for you guys :D
Is it most, the most, or (the) most (the can be omitted in informal situations)?
Who influences you the most/most in your life?
Which car do you want to buy the most/most?

It would, I think, usually be used with the, but I think it could be considered optional. Either way is okay.
