Question Capital I as opposed to the little i.

I like chocolate ice cream but i like strawberry better. I understand all letters at the beginning of a sentence start with capital letters. Could you use within the sentence a small i to denote you have already identified yourself as I, why repeat in in every sentence? pljames

Default Re: Capital I as opposed to the little i.

Hello PLJ

In standard English, wherever "I" refers to the person speaking, it begins with a capital letter.

In personal text messages and emails, of course, many people use a lower-case "i".

All the best,

MrP
