'New word' sale

Earlier this month, a new (fly-by-night?) member posted a link to an eBay sale for a new 'hand-crafted' word. It was rightly snuffed out by RonBee as a blatant piece of spam.

But having got there first, and been a bit less quick on the trigger, I had been to eBay and put the ad on my Watch list - being interested in the gullibility of possible patrons.

I notice now that someone has put in a bid for it, and is going to pay £9.99 plus £1.50 post and packing for this word; and there are still about 30 hrs to go before the hammer comes down.

He submitted a free one as a suggestion to the site, but it didn't have a definition. I'll stick to Douglas Adams' Meaning of Liff.

Less than 6 hrs to go, and it's still at £9.99. Considering all the research and writing up he has to do, and the hours he must have spent on the writing of the ad (which is pretty impressive, as hokum goes), he isn't doing too well.
