Hello everybody

I am a new member

I've graduated last year from the English department in the University and i am now doing my teaching certificate..

My problem is that I am doing a paper on a certain topic concerning teaching English

this topic must be specific ( such as variaty in lesson plans, giving worksheets, presenting vocabulary...)

most of my mates are already teachers and have experience ,BUT I have not started teaching yet

that's why i have difficulty finding a topic for my action research

OK, so which learning difficulty? Or are you going to look at various? What is the educational policy there? Do they integrate them into the mainstream or teach them separately? Has the policy changed in the last few years? In the answers to these questions, there should be the beginnings of a paper.

Teaching English Games is on a distinguished road
Default Re: I Need Help - A Topic

Hello,
Quite a few teachers have contacted me over the last few months about the topic of their choice, which is teaching using games. Do games enhance learning and why? Or a question of that nature. If you did that topic you can talk about Total Physical Response, different learning styles, the theory of multiple intelligences and such things. There is a growing body of research on it although more needs to be done.
Alternatively you could research the benefits of using stories to teach English. There is a corpus of research on the advantages of using reading and stories with native speakers but not so much with ESL pupils.
I have some articles on those topics here:
Teaching Children English Articles and Tips
However may I say that it is important that you feel excited about the topic you choose, that way you will be curious and motivated to do the research and will do a better job.
Kind regards
